If you’re not upset dazed and confused, you’re just not in touch with reality.

The modern crisis of certainty
Being upset dazed and confused is a good thing—it’s proof you’re awake and alert.
We live in an era of great uncertainty. Anxiety, depression, and mental health issues have become global norms. Many of us turn to quick fixes—alcohol, recreational drugs, sex, endless scrolling on social media, or binge-watching TV—to dull the edge of our anxiety.
While these may offer temporary relief, they don’t provide a sustainable way through the chaos. Chaos is the new normal and learning to dance with uncertainty might just be the superpower of our times.
Life has always been a dance with unpredictability.
Brain scientists tell us the human hard drive, the amygdala, is designed to continually scan the environment for threats to our existence. Our nervous system is guided by the flight-or-fight response.
When you combine this with the levels of change and upheaval in this modern world—i.e., one moment you’re sailing smoothly, and the next, a wave of uncertainty sweeps you off your feet.
Whether it’s the economy wobbling on its axis, political upheaval, relationships feeling shaky, or personal decisions looming like
Whether it’s the economy wobbling on its axis, political upheaval, relationships feeling shaky, or personal decisions looming like storm clouds, uncertainty is our modern companion.
And so many of us are floundering, seeking solace in chemicals, alcohol, sex, conspiracy theories, social media, recreational drugs, and whilst these may assuage the anxieties they do not offer a sustainable way through the maze of uncertainty.

This is one of my all time favourite quotes. How can we best navigate these times of social, personal, and political discombobulation?
The answer is closer than you think. Amidst this swirling chaos, there’s one constant, unwavering ally we often overlook: intuition.
Intuition, that quiet nudge or fleeting insight, often feels elusive—almost too soft-spoken to trust in a world that worships logic and data.
But when life tilts off-balance, intuition steps forward as your most reliable, ever-present friend. Unlike the rational mind, which can spiral into overthinking or freeze with indecision, intuition offers clarity, a deeper knowing that bypasses the noise.
Uncertainty is draining on your system, you might find value in exploring my masterclass on intuition and learn ways to transcend chaos.
Learn to dance with chaos
Why is intuition such an ally in chaos?
Uncertainty disrupts routines, expectations, and plans, leaving us in uncharted territory.
While logic demands facts and evidence to map the way forward, uncertainty rarely provides such luxuries. This is where intuition excels. Intuition doesn’t need certainty to act—it thrives in ambiguity because it taps into a field of knowing beyond time and space.
You can make chaos your greatest ally.
Necessity is said to be the mother of invention; some of the greatest breakthroughs in history came not from carefully laid plans but from unforeseen circumstances requiring leaps of intuition.
One of the great minds of the modern world, Einstein, suggested:
“The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift. We will not solve the problems of the world from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them. More than anything else, this new century demands new thinking: We must change our materially based analyses of the world around us to include broader, more multidimensional perspectives”
Here are some ways you can recalibrate your mindset and dance with chaos.
1) Reclaim the balance between mind and intuition
Einstein critiques a societal imbalance: we glorify logic and reason while neglecting intuition.
This imbalance has shaped our institutions, education systems, and even personal decision-making processes. Intuition is not meant to replace rationality but to complement it, offering a multidimensional view that bridges logic with insight.
2) Explore approaches to new thinking for this new era
Einstein calls for “new thinking” transformation and elevating the relationship with intuition in transcending limitations.
Uncertainty and complexity require more than analytical solutions; they demand a shift to a broader perspective that intuition provides. Intuition opens pathways to creative solutions and possibilities that logic alone might overlook.
3) Live beyond the constraints of the past
Deeply understanding Einstein’s idea that problems cannot be solved at the same level of thinking as when they were created is a game-changer.
I invite you to learn to transcend conditioned patterns. Intuition connects to universal intelligence, allowing for solutions that bypass the constraints of past experiences. Intuition is the gateway to create a life aligned with a higher vision.
4) You are part of a social and global transformation
Einstein’s vision of multidimensional perspectives applies directly to broader social challenges and suggests that intuition isn’t just a personal tool but a key to collective innovation and healing. This viewpoint positions intuition as a bridge between individual growth and global impact.
The science and mysticism of intuition
In times of uncertainty, this sacred gift becomes invaluable. Intuition is more than just a gut feeling.
Neuroscience reveals that intuition stems from the brain’s ability to process vast amounts of information subconsciously, integrating past experiences, patterns, and subtle cues into a flash of insight. But intuition also transcends biology.
Mystical traditions—whether Hermetic teachings, the Vedas, or indigenous wisdom—tell us that intuition connects us to universal intelligence, the infinite web of knowing that binds all life.In this way, intuition becomes a bridge: one foot grounded in the patterns of the past, the other reaching into the infinite possibilities of the future.
Intuition is essentially a connection to a deeper aspect of consciousness, which some call “higher self,” “superconscious,” or a state of universal awareness.
No matter what we name it, intuition arises when the mind transcends its conditioned patterns and operates from a state of stillness and unified vision. This allows Insights to flow effortlessly, unclouded by doubt or the limitations of linear thinking.
When you receive clear intuitive guidance, it’s important to remember the clarity and power of the ‘nudge’ that accompanied it. Doubts that arise later are typically products of the conditioned, analytical mind and shouldn’t be allowed to undermine the clarity of the original intuitive experience.
To stay connected to intuition, I recommend practices like mindfulness, meditation, and creative pursuits that foster openness to the state of flow, as this helps maintain alignment with higher states of consciousness.
Many of today’s teachers, including Deepak Chopra and Dr. Joe Dispenza, emphasize the importance of intuition, particularly in times of uncertainty, as a tool to access new possibilities and creative solutions.
And, likewise, they encourage us to embrace the unknown—often a source of fear—and also the doorway into a new realm of possibilities where we have the opportunity to break free from habitual patterns rooted in past experiences.
By doing so, you can align with your future potential and cultivate a state of being that transcends limitations.
Don’t let doubt or fear hold you back—take the first step toward mastering intuition. My masterclass is designed to guide you in tuning into the voice of your higher wisdom.
Trusting the whisper
The challenge, of course, lies in developing a relationship with your intuition. In uncertain times, doubt is an ever-present companion, and intuition can feel like an unproven theory.
How do you discern a true intuitive insight from wishful thinking or fear?
It takes practice and guidance. Like learning to ride a bike, we are best served by training wheels or a panting parent running beside us until we gain momentum and experience. Here are some simple pointers:
Create stillness: Intuition often whispers; it rarely shouts. Create space for it by silencing the chatter of the mind. Meditate, take a walk, or simply breathe deeply.
Feel into your body: Intuition often speaks through the body—a flutter in your chest, a calm sense of knowing in your gut. Pay attention to these subtle signals.
Ask questions: When faced with uncertainty, ask your intuition direct questions. What feels expansive? What feels constrictive? Often, the body will tell you before the mind does.
Practice: Like any relationship, your connection with intuition grows stronger with experience. Start small—follow an intuitive nudge in your daily life and observe the outcomes.
5. A friend for every season
In uncertain times, intuition can be the lighthouse guiding you through the lashing winds and waves. It helps you navigate decisions not just with the mind but with the heart and soul, aligning you with the path that feels most authentic.
As the French philosopher Blaise Pascal once said, “The heart has its reasons, which reason knows nothing of.”
Intuition is the voice of the heart, reminding us of our own innate wisdom.
So, the next time you find yourself at a crossroads, remember this: uncertainty isn’t a dead end; it’s an invitation to listen more deeply.
Your intuition—a steadfast and knowing friend—is ready to lead you home.
Certainty is a moment away. These are challenging times, but intuition is the most profound resource we possess. It’s not a luxury; it’s a necessity. Let’s reclaim this birthright and use it as a compass to chart a path through the unknown—and into brilliance.
