FTE Ministry Fellowship: Applications Now Open

The FTE Ministry Fellowship invites undergraduate students to explore their call to ministry and faith-based leadership. Designed to nurture young leaders through reflection, mentorship, and community, this fellowship represents a vital bridge between theological education and real-world ministry.

Applications for the 2026 cohort are now open. The Forum for Theological Exploration (FTE) is seeking emerging leaders who are discerning a call to serve in the Church and the broader world through ministry and faith-rooted leadership. The fellowship offers intentional spaces for reflection, vocational discernment, and engagement with peers who share a passion for justice and faith.

About the Fellowship

The FTE Ministry Fellowship supports college students who demonstrate potential for ministry leadership and a commitment to faith-driven service. Fellows receive financial support, mentorship, and the opportunity to attend an annual discernment retreat where they connect with faith leaders, theologians, and peers exploring similar paths.

Over the course of the year, fellows are encouraged to reflect deeply on their calling — what it means to serve faithfully, ethically, and creatively in communities that are diverse, evolving, and in need of transformation. This experience helps participants align vocation with purpose and prepare for seminary or other ministry-related work.
